Dear listener!
I consider this CD to be a milestone in my musical development, neither a peak nor a beginning or an end. Like taking a snapshot of a baby, it is a documentation of my current situation as a composer and pianist. I felt a great need to make this CD and doing so allows me to let go of the songs that are recorded on it and to go on with new songs and ideas that occupy my thoughts. Just like a man at his desk, clearing the paperwork after a day’s work, I can clear all the music that has accumulated in the last years and make space for new things to come.
